I think you’d very much enjoy New Mutants: Dead Souls, which concluded today

From what I understand and the spoilers I’ve seen, they utterly trash Xi’an Coy Manh’s character which is unacceptable. Bi Dani Moonstar is not worth that!

Dear anon, the final issue of Dead Souls crushed my soul. Liked some of the earlier issues, but this finale destroyed that. And my emotions. And character assassinated one of my favorite characters (Xi’an) , and fucked up the life of my other fave (Rahne) again.

Also the artist never, EVER remembered to draw Xi’an’s prosthetic leg. Which is also a Big Deal to me.

Things I really like about Fallout 4 so far, in no particular order:

– Dogmeat found and brought me a rocket launcher
– Dogmeat in general
– Settlements. I have spent most of my time Minuteman-ing around the Commonwealth, except for a pit-stop in Diamond City to recruit Piper
– Piper
– Pompadour wig
– The fact that suits don’t magically turn into skirt suits when Quinn puts them on
– Badass old lady veteran Minuteman
– The fact that you can still earn achievements with god mode on
– The fact that I don’t have uninstall some random driver every time I turn my computer back on in order to access the console
– The colors! Not just shades of green-blue or tan!

Yeah…

I was left going, “…what the frak just happened? I have NO IDEA what happened or how Liara ended up back on the Normandy (apparently the formula is: LI + Joker + someone else step off Normandy, but did it seriously not occur to them that a lot of people would want their LI at their side in the final batlle?) or even if Shepard is alive as the ghost-kid seemed to promise (I took the destroy Reapers option) or blown to smithereens which, from the visuals, would have made more sense.

I was sort of frustrated to the point of anger, because I like knowing what happens in an ending.

So I finished ME3… *SPOILERS*

That was…not exactly what I expected.

More, and hopefully the read more works.

1. I am pretty sure my squad was with me when I got KO’d by the Reaper laser, which would mean they got fried to death.

2. Liara was in my squad, because 1) my Shepards generally insist on taking their LIs everywhere with them and 2) BIOTICS.

3. 2 is true, and 1 is the only thing that makes sense as far as timing and trying to, you know, save the universe goes (because taking to randomly ship them off somewhere else makes…zero sense and is not at all practical), then I have a question:

Why is Liara STEPPING OFF THE NORMANDY AT THE END WITH JOKER AND ASHLEY? What manner of sorcery is this?

It’s nice being “the Shepard” and a legend and all, but I was kind of hoping for something a helluva lot less confusing and, ya know, maybe that involved a pension and a vacation home.

On new ME3 trailery stuff.

There’s only one rumoured new potential squadmate/love interest I’m really curious to see. But I don’t know that I expect to see this character anywhere until the game is actually out, since ::SPOILER::

she’s supposedly only a romance option for femShep. This is relevant to my has-romanced-no-one-because-none-of-the-ladies-she’s-interested-in-have-been-in-game-options!femShep’s interests in case they don’t actually allow for a femShep/Ashley romance. Which I’m really hoping for.
