I think that’s caused by the way the game does shine on horse tails, from what I can find. There was a fix for it, which seemed to involve default replacement tails with no shine, but it seems like the site that had that mod seems to be dead now, which sucks.
Edit: Apparently the site might be back around Friday, from a question someone answered on the EA Sims 3 community forums.
So. I have started playing sims 3 again (mainly because I found this Jack sim; if you DL, make sure you snag the smaller file size skin tone from the comments section).
So my femShep sim and Jack sim talk, and after their first convo, Jack says, “I don’t care what anyone else says, I think you’re hot!”
Success.
