the thing is she lets all the words shaw say to her go in one ear and out the other because root knows that the words shaw says to her hold no meaning instead root watches what shaw does her facial expressions the way she moves her smirks her sighs root’s in tune with all of that knows when to push and knows when to back off without shaw having to use her words so yeah maybe she’s bad at listening shaw but that’s only because she’s too busy watching you and really that’s all that really matters to you right?
