Non-canonical books sometimes mention her. Apparently in Nicholas Meyer’s The Seven-Per-Cent Solution, she had an affair and was killed in a murder-suicide by Daddy Holmes. I think she got mentioned in one of the Mary Russell novels by Laurie R. King, but I cannot remember what was said or in what book, but I think I remember that it wasn’t a warm relationship.
