While I do love seeing all the Steve Rogers appreciation today, I’d like to show a little love for some of our other America-themed superheroes.
Edit: I noticed a lot of people reblogging this don’t know the names of these characters. Their names are, in order: Isaiah Bradley (Captain America), America Chavez (Miss America), and Eli Bradley (Patriot).

Dear internet: Carol Danvers is a major in the USAF, which makes her about 32-34. Stop with all of this “So-and-so is too old to play her” bullshit.
Katee Sackhoff? 34
Yvonne Strahovski? 32
Claire Danes? 35
Jennifer Morrison? 35
Emily Blunt? 31
Go sell your ageist crap someplace else.

I’ve been looking through image posts on tumblr and rolling around in how I am still not over the last several issues of X-Factor v3.
Dear Marvel…
…I cannot with you and your weird timelines.
I also cannot with that artist who apparently forgot about Xi’an having a robotic leg. If that’s even the Xi’an from the “normal” timeline, since I know New Mutants got visited by alt-future version at one point (I stopped keeping up with New Mutants when Xi’an stopped being a regular, so I am a bit unsure what the heck is up with that book, other than it’s ending its existence). If that is supposed to be “normal” timeline Xi’an, IDK when the frack that is supposed to be happening because it sure as hell doesn’t mesh well with Astonishing right now.
I CANNOT with Marvel timelines. And the part where most of the characters I try to keep up with are looking real likely to get benched for the foreseeable future.
