If it’s a prequel, okay, cool. That’s really the only way I can see it being set in-universe and get away without any reference to Shepard.

If it’s AU, that would work a lot better.

During the events of the other games is probably out.

If it’s set post-ME3, that’s a major can of worms and I really hope they realize that and don’t go that route. Because a post-ME3 Mass Effect game…they would probably pick one ME3 ending as “canon.” Which I think would go over about as well as trying to sell someone a turd sandwich.

I mean. I am still not over ME3. I cannot bring myself to finish the runs I haven’t completed.

Also still not over not being able to romance ALL the ladies with femShep.
