“So my brothers and I paid him a visit.”

I’m planning a fic (it may be chapters, it may be a series of connected drabbles – or fic with drabble supplements, IDK yet) about the elf family of the viddathari in “Demands of the Qun,” and the internets have ZERO pictures of this guy floating about that I could find. I wanted references in case I ever tried to draw him or one of his brothers (there’s one behind him, but for my story, and since he said “brothers” in his dialogue, there is one more bro who I haven’t decided on the reason he wasn’t in that scene).

Dude, they’re just petite. The redesign has its pros and cons (Zevran being perhaps the only con), but can we please stop body shaming the female elves and calling them “pedo-bait?” Thank you.

^^^^^ I like how it’s only petite and skinny women who get called pedobait, yet men who are not tall and muscled are not. Double standards, much?

People also seem to be overlooking the fact that they’re, well, elves. Of course they are going to tend to be slighter than humans.

Humans: don’t think unfavorably of your physiology because it isn’t elven. You are not elves! Laryn is a dwarven broodmother; we don’t toss and turn at night, plagued by thoughts of how we wish we could look more like The Mother, now do we?

BioWare could have made the elves slim and petite without making them look so incredibly unhealthy.

We’re just going to assume that you’ve never met a fellow human with a small frame. They exist, and most probably resent the implication that they look “incredibly unhealthy.”

– WHY AM I NOT A 5’6” EXAMPLE OF ROBUST KIRKWALLIAN HEALTH

What is the excuse for the Dalish then? “They walk a lot”? Also, why are the poor, poverty-stricken humans “robust”? Why are they not as skinny as the elves when living in the same conditions?

…Because biology.

They are humans.

All the awards for b-mommy. The elves do not have a human bone structure. Their shoulders are not as wide, nor are their hips. Their bone are not as large.

Also, if we want to get back on the subject of human biology, a person who is under 5’ and fine boned shouldn’t be called “unhealthy.” It’s really insulting to insist that they shouldn’t exist as a body type by saying it’s unhealthy or unnatural to be that size.
