This actually makes it LESS surprising to me to know that that happened with Chaiken at the helm. Chaiken set up the L Word’s main bisexual character, Jenny Schecter, as sort of Evil Bisexual; the story lines of the bisexual trans man, Max, were all over the place as well. Max ended up pregnant and Jenny ended up dead.
Basically, I would actually expect Bad Things of Some Kind to happen to any wlw or trans character under Chaiken’s control.
