To have six quickslots account wide, I will be shelling out for 2160 Cartel Coins, according to dulfy.net’s info.

Haven’t found any info on how much character slot unlocks are going to cost, but I’m betting that, to make all of my already created characters available to play, it’ll be at least 2k more. And that’s if I don’t have to unlock race/class combos for some of them.

I really think “Preferred” status should net you more than two character slots and more than two quickslots.

Have decided that the cat-I-plan-to-acquire-whenever-the-feasibility-of-acquiring-a-cat-materializes is more than likely going to end up named Mogget. Possibly even if it ends up not being a white cat.

Which means the dog I want to have along with the cat is most likely going to end up named Kibbeth. Or DD. Or something along those lines. Even if said dog is likely to be be much more portably sized than the original Disreputable Dog.

Guys this is really important.

CBS just posted an article saying that 20 states have petitioned to secede from the American union now that Obama is president again.This means, that if they reach 25,000 signatures in 30 days, the petition can be reviewed by the government administration.

The states that have petitioned to secede are as the following: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.

Texas already has over 22,000 signatures and if they have enough support they could very well be removed from the United States. 

This is very important guys, please signal boost this, tell your parents. This effects the entire country and everyone needs to know.

I guess I am just not all that shocked by this because this kind of thing has been going on for years now. The League of the South (considered by the Southern Poverty Law Center to be a hate group) has been pushing for this for at least a decade.

Note to all of the above: these are NOT being filed by the actual states.

All the petitions at the website are put forth by citizens. Not state governments. 

These are in no shape or form related to actual state governments.

In addition to the fact that these petitions are started by private individuals, not the governing bodies of the states in question, a good number of the signatures on each petition are from people who don’t even live in that state.

An escaping daughter from a Quiverfull family is trying to win a scholarship through WyzAnt Scholarships. In order to get a scholarship she needs people to vote on her essay. Her essay is entitled ‘Quiverfull Freedom’.  Jennifer from Charlotte, North Carolina has written about how she would use her education to help those young adults trying to leave the QF type  life.

one of the problems with the way k-12 education works rn is that?? not only is there the thing where not all intelligent kids are Good Students with Good Grades and Potential, the kids who do end up as Good Students tend to also be high-stress kids with self esteem issues and when they’re stuck in the Good Student-Bad Student dichotomy, guess what happens?? if they have a bad year, it fucks up their grades a bit, they need to take a year off for health reasons, all that shit? it fucking tears them apart.

because suddenly they feel like they’re a Bad Student and the k-12 system portrays Bad Students as stupid and lazy and less important and inevitably doomed to not “succeeding” (that high school > college > job > money shit they feed you until you graduate), and when kids are told for 14 years straight that being a Good Student is the most important thing, and it doesn’t matter if they’re not popular or all that other shit, because being a Good Student is the best thing about them!! it’s their best quality!!

and so when they abruptly (or even over the course of a couple years) stop being a Good Student because of things that are outside of their control or outside of what they can handle right now, like mental illness or bullying or health issues or family issues or money issues or a whole host of other things, it fucks them up so bad because they’ve been told their whole lives that what they’ve just lost is the most important thing about them, and then they just. have nothing left. and that is fucking devastating
