#you know i have this idea#that when Shaw comes back#Root will not want to let her out of her sight#and she might even want to cling herself to Shaw while they sleep#but i know Shaw wouldn’t let her#she wouldn’t let herself be the little spoon EVER#so she’ll tell Root to get over it#that she’s back and she’s fine#and in that night is Shaw who finds herself wanting to protect Root in their sleep#so Root doesn’t have to hurt ever again#after all#she’s the one who does the protecting#right?#that night is the first night in months that Root has slept so soundly#wrapped in the arms of the woman she can’t live without  ( via whiteknightswan)
