They still whitewashed Sera after she was presented in her character design and other artwork as a woman of color. The outcry of dudebros over not being able to romance her with a male Inquisitor is partly because their only other are options are two black women (Vivienne and Scribe Girl, if Scribe Girl is a romance) and another woman of color.

So no, they don’t really deserve cookies for doing what they ought in one area while backsliding in others. A lot more areas than I’ve mentioned here.
