Well, uh. Guess our time together is probably going to be short-lived.
I, for one, look forward to meeting whoever the heck I will be playing as in the next installment. I would be reluctant to play “my” Warden again, because they’d probably stick to the fully voiced model, and the voice would probably not be anywhere near what I think my Warden would sound like.
Not to mention that you’d have to remake them, which would be difficult for the production team to do because they probably aren’t going to drop the elf model redesign and pretend it never happened for DA3. And after Origins and all those extra campaign DLC’s and Awakening in which to level, the Warden would be pretty OP. There would have to be a reason for starting back at square with their abilities.
And there’s just so much variation in how the Warden’s story turns out. They can die, for one thing. Though that hasn’t stopped Bioware before.
Totally agreed on all points.
Zombie!Warden could be interesting. If they were, you know, an actual zombie/darkspawn.
Well, they wouldn’t become a darkspawn. They would become a ghoul. Only the very first darkspawn were ever people. The rest come from broodmothers, who are specialized ghouls.
Being a (very special) ghoul, we feel the hoity-toity need to tell you this.
I stand corrected, and am glad for the knowledge!
